Paris Summer Project: 2013

Hey Everyone! This is our Final week in Paris as a Summer Project! This week has been full of sharing, saying goodbye to our French friends, and debriefing. Below you will see pictures of students sharing at the park, our picnic that we hosted on Wednesday to say one last goodbye to our new friends, as well as a celebration time that we had to celebrate what the Lord has done through us while we were here in Paris. Some of what the Lord has done: We have initiated 1,080 spiritual conversations while we were here, Shared the Gospel with 495 people, and seen 5 people place their faith in Christ! Praise the Lord! We will be flying out on Monday, July 1st to head back to the States. Thank You so much for all your prayers and support!

Week 5! Wow what a week. Time is continuing to fly as we come to our last week on project here in Paris. Things that have happened this past week: On our day off last Saturday we went to the Eiffel Tower to see it light up at night. Then Monday thru Friday were pretty normal as we go to the Crous (a cafeteria where we eat lunch and share with students) from 11:30am to 2pm then we head to Luxembourg park to go sharing from about 2:30 to 4pm. Tuesday we had Family Supper together as a project, and every Wednesday we have celebration time at the Park, followed by what we call Date night with Jesus! Where we all go and spend some extended time with the Lord! We met and shared with many students throughout the week. Please pray for our team that we would finish strong as we only have 3 days left on campus here in Paris. On Friday evening we had Family Fun again. This time we had an Amazing Race in the heart of Paris! It was a ton of fun for our group as we had to find different clues throughout the city and then find the finish where in order to finish we had to recite verses from memory that they gave us at the start of the race! We were split into teams of 3 (You will see more pictures below) On the same night that we did the Amazing Race there was a Street Music Festival in Paris where bands just set up on pretty much every street corner and play music for most of the night. There are tons of people that come into the city to watch. You will see a Picture of Kamaya and Jovanna below with the Girl that they have been meeting with that came to know the Lord 2 weeks ago, they have been going through follow-up with her now. Other great news as well is that this past week we had the opportunity to see 2 more students come to know Christ! That puts the total to 5 students during summer project! Praise the Lord
